German born, ever curious, typography driven and never not hungry for pizza.
I’m an editorial and graphic designer with a love for the detail of design work.
After being trained as a classic graphic designer at university, I decided to put my knowledge about typography, layout and the tactile side of design to the test and jump into the deep end of digital design and UX/UI.
In my three years of work experience I honed my eye for detail, fell in love with design systems and experimented with animation and how to put static design into motion. Now I am ready for new adventures, new people and new challenges.
My special sauce
Good friends call me Chess.
I'm usually 5 minutes early to everything.
Exploring book stores for layout inspiration is a legit weekend activity.
Can't start my day without a to-do list.
Decompressing on the weekend through food and cycling through nature.
My favourite book is Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Love living in Haarlem because big cities stress me out.
I'm definitely a dog person, the smaller and fluffier the better.
What inspires me
Magazine layouts and editorial design
Talking to fellow creatives
Doodling around in my notebook
Going for a walk without music or podcast
